This was our get-go time at Hawley's landing. The route to go far was pretty narrow but manageable. The area has a ton of trees so you are in the shade pretty much all twenty-four hour period long. The lake and trails around the area are really beautiful and worth some hikes. The camping spots are close together though so you practise experience similar you are on top of people (it did non help that the site next to ours had a family unit reunion going on so there were lots of people). Our site had water and electrical hook-ups even though the reserveramerica site said only electrical. I would get once more, but for sure all sites are not created equal here and then try and pick your site advisedly and stay on the outside of the loop if you can.

Tranquility, totally shaded, friendly camp hosts. About sites offering trivial privacy merely 17 is almost completely screened past vegetation, though it's suitable for vans or minor rigs only. Make clean restrooms with ample hot water. Firewood $7 a bundle.

Our third visit to Hawleys landing. We always relish our fourth dimension here. Sites 17, 43 and 44 take lake views. No issues with bugs. Restrooms are make clean and well maintained. Backing into sites tin be an result with larger rigs. Look forrard to returning.

Stayed at Hawleys for our offset family army camp trip with our new camper and we couldn't exist happier with the experience. We stayed in site 12 which was correct across the bathrooms (which were very make clean) and it was very spacious. We didn't hear any dissonance from the route or if we did...information technology just sounded similar a river. Inflow and cheque in was easy and the military camp host was very dainty. Was able to pick upwardly some internet with the Verizon network simply it was dull.

Beautiful campground. Spacing Between campsites is very generous. Some truck noise during say and early morning time as there is a major road below. Cute campground. Spacing
Between campsites is very generous. Some truck racket during say and early morning every bit there is a major road beneath. If camping ground without whatever route noise is important. Camp on the side where camp host is located. If you are tent camping ground you are in luck...those spots are premium. I would non take a big rig in here. There are two pull-throughs. Maybe a 32-35 ft 5er can fit? Being an older state park the roads are narrow getting to spot. Pretty empty here in mid April. Very close to trail of Hiawatha. Just a short ride on park road and the trail access is to the right. Go to plummer ( upward loma) or to the bridge. Gotta run...hopping on my wheel for a nice ride.
Oh....one more than thing...the showers are complimentary, clean and very, very hot!! Pure elation!

This is a beautiful campground in the Heyburn State park expanse! There are two other campgrounds in this state park that are already closed. And fifty-fifty though this i says it closes a week later Labor Mean solar day, it'south however open up! Planning to inquire about that discrepancy at the company center. Such a gorgeous expanse, near the COEUR D'ALENE bike trail, beautiful hikes nearby, nearly the rivers/lakes. Such a golden time of twelvemonth here right now. Went into the nearby town of St Marie's today between raindrops. Cute town with a nice java bulldoze through called Shift and Grind. Great lumbering history in the area and the pride in the history in that location is quite evident. My only surprise was the price. Several reviews here said it was $20, definitely not for u.s.!! We take a small teardrop and had electric and water and information technology was 33.62 a night. No sites seem to be $20. Fastened is the photo of the fee schedule. Super clean bathrooms with showers.

Nice campground in the woods. Fairly private spots, nice trail along the water for wildlife viewing, camp showers were squeamish and clean. Electric and water hookups only for RVs. Tents welcome in your RV site or there is designated tent campsite loop which appeared a bit more than private. If camping ground in an RV I suggest calling to make your reservation instead of reserving online. Online only gives a max length only each site has its ain challenges. The site we reserved was 18, we have a 24ft trailer, even with two others to help at that place was no way nosotros could get information technology in there. Luckily the campground staff was all-around and provided u.s. some other space that we could fit in.
